I have always
had a desire to
be artistic, but
never had talent
before and have
not had it
since.
I created The
Angels at a time
in my life when
I desperately
needed what each
angel
represents.
I was going
through a family
crisis and
personal tragedy
and was at the
lowest point in
my life. For
months the
process of
creating these
drawings was
literally what
got me through
each day. Each
day I would sit
in front of my
computer and
cry.
I was paralyzed
with depression,
guilt, sadness
and fear, fear
of the unknown.
I began thinking
a lot about
angels. Then,
one day I just
started
drawing.
I was
almost obsessed
with getting
these powerful
emotions out of
my body and into
a form
expressing their
intensity. Each
line had to be
perfect. Each
face had to
create a
personality.
As I
was
drawing
I
could
feel
my
angels
around
me,
wrapping
me
in
love.
The
emotion
was
indescribable.
It
was
such
a
wonderful
feeling
that
it
moved
me
to
tears.

When I
finished the
angel of Love &
Hope I wept
almost
uncontrollably
as it was at
that point that
I realized that
this was me –
these angels
were a part of
me, they were my
guardian
angels. It is
my belief that
these are
inspired
drawings.
I have never
been much of a
religious
person; however
I am very
spiritual in my
beliefs. This
experience
forever changed
me.
The story of
their creation
is important for
me to share. It
is why when I
look at them I
am reminded that
I am never
alone, I am
always loved and
life is about
more, much more
than I ever
realized.
About Their
Purpose
My purpose in
sharing The
Angels is to
touch others in
the same way The
Angels touched
me. They are
too powerful not
to be shared.
My hope is that
all who need
them will see
them.
The purpose of
The Angels is to
give hope.
About Their
Mission
After The Angels
were created and
I decided to
share them, I
knew I could not
sell them
without a
portion going to
a charity.
I began
searching the
internet to find
a charity that I
could donate
to. For me, it
had to be a
special charity,
something that
touched my
heart.
Each time I
would see a site
for an AIDS
charity I would
get chills all
over my body. I
took this as a
sign and decided
that an AIDS
organization
would be
receiving a
portion of every
sale from The
Angels.
Several months
later, even
before I had
decided how I
was going to
market the
drawings, a
person whom I
love very dearly
was diagnosed
with AIDS.
The Fort Worth
AIDS Outreach
Center helped.
This event
narrowed my
donation to
them. 10%
of all sales of
The Angels are
donated to the
Fort Worth AIDS
Outreach Center.

My Angel
Prints were inspired from
heaven to nourish the spirit
of men, women and children
affected by HIV/AIDS,
depression
and other serious illnesses,
as a sign of hope, love,
faith, strength & courage.
